Is this a trading bot?

No. A bot executes on its own. TickMate watches, reasons and proposes; you approve each trade. The only thing that executes without a tap is a coded strategy you chose to take live yourself, after a consent screen.

What does the AI cost me?

On the $49 plan, nothing extra: 30,000 credits a month are included, spent at our published rates per model, and you can top up. On the $29 plan you bring a key from OpenRouter (which includes Google's Gemini), Anthropic, OpenAI or Z.ai and pay them directly; we never mark it up. A brief on a strong model costs about ten cents either way; a cheap model runs a whole session for under a cent.

You need one only on the $29 plan: Free and the $49 plan run on credits on our key unless you bring your own. A key you do add is encrypted at rest, never logged, never shared, and you can rotate or delete it at any time.

Can it trade without me?

Agents cannot. Every proposal expires if you don't answer. Strategies you deliberately deployed can, because that is what a strategy is; you acknowledge that on a consent screen before it goes live, and you can stop it at any moment.

Is this investment advice?

No. TickHint is software. TickMate's analysis is informational, it can be wrong, and you are responsible for every trade you approve. We never publish or promise returns.

Do I need to be a programmer?

No. Missions and terminal prompts are plain sentences. Strategy Studio writes the code for you, and you never have to read it unless you want to.
